Underwear for the not so girlie girl
Takt Studio was approached by Light Years in the early stages of development and tasked with creating a strong brand that would appeal to cutting edge fashion buyers and consumers, with an element of timeless design that would ensure longevity across future seasons.
The brand mark that was developed employed a simple typeface that feels both modern and classic. We introduced more fun, cutting edge elements when extending the brand across different platforms to give Light Years the edge that would set it apart from other emerging brands in a very competitive fashion environment.
We worked with the visuals produced by film company The Apiary to produce launch packs & look books to introduce the brand's debut collection to retailers.
We designed custom mailing tubes containing a poster of the key image from the film - a girl's yellow-clad behind peeking out of a pile of gravel, which positioned the label as a fresh take on lingerie.
We worked with Light Years to conceptualise and deliver innovative in store displays, using light and movement to stand out in stores with many labels vying for the customer's attention.
